Local Motion Awards by Local First| Grand Rapids Event Photography
The LocalMotion Awards began in 2011 as a way to promote best business practices and recognize the achievements of local businesses and individuals in our community, such as outstanding work in sustainability and making our community more vibrant and resilient. These awards are handed out once a year at the conclusion of the Local First Annual Meeting. We have been blessed to photograph this event every year for Local First and this years event was by far the best ever. The weather cooperated, the guest list was full, food and drinks were had by all and awards were given out. Entertainment for the evening was provided by River City Improv.
This years awards were capped by the Legacy Awards being given to Bing Goei, owner of Eastern Floral and the Goei Center in Grand Rapids. Bing has grown his businesses to employ over 100+ individuals throughout the area and was honored for his commitment to the Local Community.
