Event Photography in Grand Rapids: Acton University

What does event photography in Grand Rapids look like? If you’re at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids, your event may look somewhat like the images created during the 2022 Acton University event. 

With nearly 1000 attendees, the conference took over half of the convention center on multiple levels and we had the pleasure to provide photography and videography for The Acton Institute’s flagship event. 

This was the first time attendees gathered together since 2019. Because of that, energy was high and many emotions were running through the conference. 

With four days of ground to cover, our team came in with strategy and creative flow to keep our client happy and create the necessary long term content desired. We worked closely with our team to choose the best angles and equipment to best suit our clients' needs. 

Communication with clients is important for events that last a few days. Our main goal for Acton University was to capture the dedicated keynote speakers, breakout rooms, headshots and candid shots of the attendees throughout our four days together. 

After each day we presented the client with a collection of images they could use for social media and eventually provided over 1000+ images of the conference.
